Although this page is a bit abstract, I feel that is also helpful to understand how I think about things. The way I approach things seems to be a great way to deal with large tasks or problems. This project as stated in the project brief in my Miro flowchart shown below was to try and set myself up for the future and build a large database of information that will help me grow into many different facets of my life as an informed and rational person. It got a bit out of hand and very in depth but this is probably the best visual representation of how I go about design, modeling, decision making and many more aspects of my creative process and day to day life. Flowcharts work very well as a modeling and planning tool for me because it helps break down a large task or problem into smaller and smaller tasks that can then be sorted and completed one by one to eventually end up with the final product. I do not go this in depth with every project I work on but I am capable of it if called for.
There are two portions to this project. First is the Miro board used for structure, project planning and iterating and resource collection. It only includes topics and links to research on said topics that can be analyzed and tailored to my needs in the final database on obsidian. That is what is available for you to look through down below.
The second part is the Obsidian database. It is a detailed note taking app that uses whats called "backlinks" to link related notes together. In Obsidian I expand upon the Miro board and create in depth notes about all of the topics that branch off from the mind map.
The sad part is that obsidian is run local on my computer and I have not found a way to upload it to this site without paying monthly. If you are interested in seeing any of the completed notes on the subjects listed in the Miro board let me know I would love to show/chat about them!
